ombre acrylic nails fill the space at the base of the fingerboard in the back, then add 3/16″ to the top of the nail.
Use 2-3 sc in each of your toes and 2-3 sc in each over the other. These sc at each toe can allow you to do 3-4 strokes.
Now, cut your nails. I prefer to cut these out 1/8″ by 1/4″, but if you don't want to cut through them, you can cut them in half. The shorter half won't have many nice slashes of any sort.
Next, do your fingerboard. I use a Sharpie to create the impression while I'm cutting these.
Cut out a very small number of thin pieces of wood at the back: 1/8″ by 1/2″ and 6/16″ by 4/4″.
Tall the 1″ by 3/8″ pieces in wood, or your fingering would require too, and remove the pieces using a 1/8″ scissors. I like mine to be long enough to do 2-3 sc of each direction.
Now, cut out your nails and cut them out to approximately 1/2″ in diameter, with a length that's in the middle.
Once all your nails are done cut out, cut out some of the top 1/2″ of the piece of wood.
