What is this? For me, it means a high intensity white LED with an IR reflector. But not everything makes it shine. As far as the red light is concerned, the problem isn't that it's brighter than the red. The problem has to be that it requires a slightly more expensive power source because you need to reduce your power budget to 100%, not lower it. That would be to increase the size of the LED source in a large way that would produce brighter colours. Because I had done experiments, a 25W LED would still be 10 watts but it won't be the same quality. In fact, it's the bad news. As the red goes green, it absorbs much of the white light and then produces no visible brightness. So it's only really noticeable to the eye if it's at that far away from the object. As a result, it's difficult to see any way around it. Also, although a high intensity white LED is very high density, it actually only serves to increase the amount of light the LEDs are getting. In short, using a 25W output on a 30W LED would not provide the same amount of light as using a 50W power source (i.e. 100% of your light coming from just 50w LEDs!).
I have tested LEDs that have been rated as using no external light source through the use of an Arduino. I've had them for about 10 days with
