I apply the acrylic on the corners in half at a time so that my skin will keep getting closer to my edges. I then place my nail polish over my white background colour, and swirl my brush into the space. Before I move out of that space, I'll first move the brush away from my nail polish so that it does not look like my nail. Next, I paint, buff, and then sand down the edge of my piece. I remove the excess paint. I also carefully sand down and remove any paint that I would be removing from my nail when using the brush.

While the acrylic is applied, I use a nail polisher to gently push the excess paint up to reveal the desired colour. I then apply it so that it disappears and all this light is evenly reflected
