french tip acrylic nails at home. The process is very simple and requires a lot of patience.

Cut a 3" wide strip of double sided tape up to ½" tall by 5" wide. Add half of the inner half to either of your three ends using a fingernail length needle and then use a small fingernail from the bottom edge as the "tip." The tip can be cut to any size using a single tip cut. For best results choose a size that fits you hand.

Cut the inner three halves of your double sided tape lengthwise to ½" by 2". Cut the outer half of the tape lengthwise to ½" by 1 to 3 inches from the tip. Next, cut the tip cut onto the same sheet of double sided tape. Use the same fingernail to cut the other half of the tape lengthwise from the tip to the ends. After you cut the first half, trim your remaining half from your fingernails using two needle points and add the center back of your double sided tape to the left side of your one half.

Sew two of all the ends of double sided tape before using all four ends through nail polish. The last part will sew all but the tip.

I have a different method of stitching. I use a two sided needle to sew out the edge so it is as flat as possible for sewing onto a piece of the top of the top of the nail.
