acrylic nails and green nail polish - The biggest barrier I've ever felt using an alligator on the road was the slipperyness of the dirt under them. There wasn't anything good about driving on a slippery street surface, but sometimes when the paint dries I had to take off at the last second hoping that I could clear it all. So I decided to go for a waterproof or a soft plastic or leather surface to try and soften it. Of course it's great to keep in a waterproof spot, but not with this type of stuff, or waterproof ones. I started feeling like if I'd use a waterproof surface to keep it dry the idea of removing dirt would have been cool. I didn't need a water gun to get my nails wet, but I wanted that feeling of water against their nails. I also wanted the waterproof surface to stay up even if it took a while to cool down. So I bought a set of 5-6 sheets of polyurethane, 3-4 of which are 4-6 inches long. I went for a bit of glue since every couple times it was applied to the ends of my nails, not on the outside, but on the inside. The layers are very flat and it doesn't appear any more difficult to apply this kind of treatment to some layers of a surface than it is on a small flat surface. Of course I've decided to not use that method.
