To use 3x4 or 4x4 nail extensions, place one nail on top of the other, and cut through each other, leaving the opening on both sides open. For most long work, you will want to cut around the outside of the opening to close the gap. This can be done from underneath the nail. You may also use your hand to trim a few nails if necessary.

Note that we only have the nail extensions on to our current set. So if you have another set, place on the back of the hand.
